It all started when the children of three dads attended the same school. The dads decided to meet weekly at a rooftop bar. Nostalgic “remember playing D&D?” conversations evolved into play sessions with the kids, tweaking and streamlining of rules, and an effort to make it more fun.

Then the day came where the dads witnessed the kids’ bright eyes, gigantic grins, and relentless clamoring for more. An urgent realization was made:

It’s taken years, and we’ve refined, revised and redesigned almost every aspect of how to play a roleplaying game. We’ve added a slew of kid-compatible elements that have never been used in tabletop RPGs.

We did away with the thick and complicated rulebooks, eliminated the need for research and preparation, and punched-up gameplay with engaging, motivating, brain-slapping fun, all while keeping in mind easy on-boarding for the uninitiated parent.

With our backgrounds, we realized we had just the right skillsets to create this: we’re graphic designers, illustrators, game developers, math teachers, and nerd dads.

What we developed is a kid-centric, parent-friendly roleplaying game that encourages:

• Great storytelling and improvisation

• Creativity and problem-solving

• A needed break from digital screens

• Face-to-face, fulfilling family-time
