LoadOut – Issue #1
After a successful KickStarter campaign, the first print run of LoadOut is complete. LoadOut is a FanZine just for the players and GameMasters who play Ampersand RPG games. Ad-free and fun-filled, it comprises of gameplay tips and tricks, word games, status on upcoming projects. But most importantly, every issue will feature a skirmish – a short Adventure for kids to play and get some sweet Loot Tokens, meet some interesting foes, and earn XP. This inaugural issue features the sci-fi skirmish Module B2.

>>> You’ve been recruited to investigate a derelict space vessel. What happened to the crew and why did it suddenly stop mid-atmosphere instead of returning to Earth? Rummage through Leftover Lockers of Loot and encounter a Strange Sci-fi Cephalopod in this skirmish. <<<
PLAYING NOTES: While you could play this skirmish as-is, it would be MUCH better to use your existing Character Folios from our ScreenBox games like Mages & Macrophages. The horizontal format of LoadOut is designed to lean against the inside of one our ScreenBox games, providing an easy read for GMs. You will also need a set of gaming dice, and ideally some plastic stands for the figurines – included in all our ScreenBox games. Please note that dice and figurine stands ARE NOT INCLUDED with LoadOut.
— — — — — — — — —LoadOut is half-letter-sized (5.5" x 8.5"), but unlike most Zines, LoadOut’s orientation is in a horizontal format to make it easier to play the Skirmish. The game components are included flat in a resealable bag, tucked in the middle of the zine. And the whole thing is sealed in a polybag. The first issue includes:
